First of all, I wanted to apologise for my lack of posts. Not that I have many people reading this but anyway. Since my last post, I had a busy couple of weeks and very good news! I finally got a paid job in Marketing! I’m beyond excited and cannot wait to start! But that means I’ll have to leave my volunteering position which I am quite sad about.
But today’s post is about me and dieting. Not that I do need it, but I just want to eat healthier. As normally I don’t have much time for cooking, or sometimes I just cba cooking, I normally eat something easy: pasta, pasta, bread, and pasta. So loads of carbs. Sometimes the occasional salad or cereal. Or I just go to the take away.
So when I realise I eating too much crap and my stomach feels bloated I just do this thing where I just make myself eating healthier. Two months ago I was drinking smoothies pretty much every day. Easy to make in the morning, could drink it on my way to work and would make me feel full. So why not. As you can imagine it only lasted 2/3 weeks until I was fed up of it.
Then I went back to eating kebabs and stuff. Then I realised again, I am going on holiday in the beginning of June, so I should try it again. As the weather was nice and sunny and it felt like Summer I started eating salads. Loads of greens and pasta. Yeah that sounded good. It lasted about 2 weeks again.
As you can see I am not very good at keeping myself with diets. It’s not that I don’t like it or I am not committed. Most of it is because I don’t have much time and I get fed up of eating/ doing the same pretty quickly. And unfortunately my cooking creativity is not that big for me to make different dishes all the time. The good thing is that I can easily avoid ready-made meals and fast food. I do eat vegetables and fruit quite a lot, so I guess it’s not too bad.
So if anyone knows any good food blogs with easy but nice recipes, please advise me. I promise I’ll make an effort to start cooking more 🙂
